Story of my life right now. SIGH
Woke up around 3am and yep, here I am 2hrs later wide awake.
Stupid body! You would think our bodies would try to get as much rest as possible in these last few weeks of pregnancy, but nope. It's the exact opposite. I guess it makes sense in a way since having a LO is going to keep us up even more.
Still sucks though...

Ok, so lets say you have a bunch of old photo albums and someone wants them. What's the easiest way to give them the photos?
Send them in the photo albums right?
Pffft, wrong... well apparently wrong according to my dumbass dad.
We have old photo albums that I've been bugging him to send me for a while now. Some of those photo albums, the pages are sticky. So what does his dumbass try to do? He tries to peel off old 30+yo photos out of these albums instead of just sending me the entire thing!!
WTF??
He sent me a box of photos, and some of them are just totally ruined b/c he tried to peel them out. UGH I'm just so frickin done with him.
Anyway, speaking of the photos.... damn... I was a cute ass baby!
I say that with absolutely no shame lol. Seriously, I was ADORABLE when I was little.
Now... eh not so much :P lol
Same with my brother.... he was such a cute baby and kid.... and then he grew up. heh.
I'll scan some photos later and post them up.

Damnit, there was something important I wanted to get before baby comes. Thought of it last night while trying to get to sleep and now I can't remember what it was. SIGH!
Can't remember if it was house related, nursery, baby, me, dh, us, what. Just remember it was like a "Oh yeah! We need to get this too."

Youtube videos
Just wasting the day away watching youtube videos of newborns and moms telling their labor and delivery stories.
Just listened to one and... I don't know why women feel like having a natural birth is some HUGE accomplishment.
Now don't get me wrong, I think it's impressive if a woman can do it, and more power to those that want to give it a shot. Frickin awesome if you can get through the pain.
But it's like they see it as a bragging right? Like they have something to prove. To themselves? To other women?
*shrugs* I just don't get it but whatever floats their boat. I still enjoy listening to all of the different experiences :D
Also watching a lot of newborn videos. Love hearing the different experiences of new parents, what they like, don't like, etc and then seeing their adorable little babies.
Watched one where the parents were giving their baby a sponge bath for the first time at home. Poor little baby did not like getting his body washed and he would snort! OMG so cute!!!
I especially like the videos where it's the father's making the video. They're just so excited and there's just something about a guy being so sweet and caring that is awesome to watch.
So yeah, that's how I've been wasting away my day heh.

My boobs seem to be making a lot more colostrum. Yes, I'm still 'playing' with my bewbies :P DH laughs at me whenever I confess it to him. Pfft, he's just jealous cause he hasn't caught me doing it yet :P
I think my left boob is going to have a good amount in it. The right one... eh.
Left one I can massage a lot of colostrum out of, but the right one doesn't want to give any up most of the time.
Also, right boob colostrum is stickier than left boob stuff. Left boob stuff is very watery with no stretch, right boob still has a EWCM kind of stretch to it.
I dunno... just fascinated by what my body is doing heh.

Got some fish tank water changes done today. Still need to do one out of the big tank.
The smaller tanks really needed it though. Have live plants in all of the tanks and there's this stuff called cabomba that's floating in the 29g. It was completely taking over the tank. Poor fish barely had room to move in there and I had been putting off doing a water change b/c of the aching and I didn't want to carry around a 3g bucket full of water etc.
Anyway, just said screw it and got it done today. Leaving the big tank for tomorrow. Will be easier b/c don't have to carry around buckets. Just use a long hose to siphon out the water and put some back in. It just takes about an hour to get it done which is why I've been putting it off b/c it's tedious.
Feeling ok though. I did start to ache a little bit, but not nearly as bad as I was fearing it would be.
Alrighty, gotta go wash rest of baby stuff and get laundry out of the dryer. Fun fun.

Lets see.... well, I told my brother and his wife & my mom about getting induced on Tuesday. They're all really excited :)
Hell, my brother is actually going to take a day off. I don't think he should since it could take a while for baby to come, but that's what he wants to do.
DH also told his mom yesterday. He said she really didn't react which kinda surprises me since she's baby crazy. *shrugs*
Tuesday isn't the greatest day for THEM though. I know his sister has to work and that's the day MiL babysits for her so.. not sure how that's going to work out. Oh well.. less people trying to barge in to the room is fine with me. Not like baby is going anywhere :P
It's not a race to see how gets to hold baby first or anything, ya know?

Also need to wash all of the stuff that MiL bought for the baby. DH picked it up yesterday.

If you ever want to make your own cards and you go to Kinkos to get them printed. Make sure to tell them that YOU are going to fold them.
I frickin swear.... DH and I just assumed that we would fold them.... but nope... they charged us frickin 9cents per frickin card to fold. Seriously????
It's not like a fancy fold either, just a piece of regular card stock folded in half!!!! Such a F-ing rip off.
Anyway, the cards came out really cute. Made DH write out all of the Thank Yous last night. I don't really know his coworkers so just thought it would be better for him to do it.

I had the nastiest dream last night! That's your warning :P
Dreamt that I was being induced. And while in the hospital, I had to poo.. A LOT.
But they weren't just normal poos.... no... they were the size of footballs.
First few went down the toilet easily, but the last one was not budging so I had to get something to break up this giant turd in the toilet so it would flush. Got poo everywhere and yeah eventually cut it down so it all flushed away.
Couldn't dream about having a baby... oh no... had to turn in to a gross dream about shit :\

Oh and when I was talking to my brother yesterday, he mentioned to me that my dad wanted to come up here when baby is born.
Now I don't want that at all, but can't exactly stop him if he wanted to show up.
BUT that's not it... he wanted to STAY WITH US. WTF????

Even my brother thought that was ridiculous. I mean come the F- on.... who the hell would even think that was a good idea?
Hmmm... new parents with a newborn? Yeah, sounds like a great idea to intrude on their time together while they're adjusting b/c I'm too cheap to get a motel!
So yeah.... after my brother told our dad everything, thankfully he's not going to come up.
Just ugh..... idiot.
If he never sees my baby girl and any future kids in person..... I'll be totally fine with that. He can stay his ass right where he is.

38 weeks!
First up... slight delay in today's post because computer totally crapped out. More on that in a bit...

It still looks like she's really high, which can't be helped with my torso :)

Yesterday was good after the appointment. DH was off so we headed to Target to take back the monitor my mom bought us and the shopping cart seat cover thing we bought and then purchased a few other things we still wanted to get.
Another changing pad fitted cover, couple of changing pad water proof things (we weren't sure if bassinet mattress was water proof so got these for it), erm... another 3 pack of burp clothes, a cute pair of Gamecocks onesies that were on clearance (DH wanted them), and another swaddle thing.
Also got the trash can for the diapers and a hook for the door to hang the diaper bags on. OH and one of those cheap plastic drawer container things for the closet to put the heavy blankets in. Won't need those any time soon and they were taking up space in drawers.
The nursery is good to go though. Spent a lot of time cleaning it up and throwing away stuff. Only thing that is out of place is the monitor whenever DH gets around to putting that in the bassinet.
Also washed all of the new stuff. Still need to fold it but that can wait.
Also got the hospital bag pretty much done. Only thing it will need is the camera and video camera and I think that's it. Oh and maybe a couple of books too.
So yeah... hearing the news that this little girl is coming in a week really kicked our butts in to action lol.
I'm still not having an urge to nest. The only reason I'm cleaning and whatnot is because well.. I need to. No maternal instinct to do it. That sucks b/c I sure could use that burst of motivation and some energy.

So.. my computer is just slowly but surely turning to shit.
The power flickered for whatever reason this morning. When I finally got up, came in to the comp room and my computer would not turn back on.
I finally just got around to opening it up. Thought maybe it was clogged full of dust and hair, but nope. There was some but not enough to hinder anything.
Sprayed it with some compressed air anyway and *shrugs* It turned back on so yeah, no idea what was wrong.
Really need to get a new computer though. SIGH! This one just has to hold out a little while longer though. Just long enough for us to get some $$ and get a new one :P lol
OOOOO isn't a tax free weekend coming up for back to school stuff? Hmmmmm....... may have to bug DH for that.
Should NOT be thinking about this right now with a LO coming along, but damnit.. I love my computer! rofl ;)

Oh last night was... painful. I laid in bed, usually start on my left side and I dunno what the hell triggered it but a spot on my left side started to hurt. Thought maybe baby girl was just laying on it weird or something so I rolled over and it got worse.
Of course DH started making jokes, making me laugh which made it worse :P
It did eventually fade though but lord, that felt awful!
Like a really bad side stitch x10.

I think that's it. Hmmm.... OOOOO I finally vacuumed some today! WOO! Have most of the house done. Been doing it a room at a time so I don't get too achy.
Just have the bedroom to do next and I think that's it. YAY :D

37.6w appointment
So today's appointment went pretty well for the most part.
Zoe is still looking great on the u/s. Still has short little legs hehe. The tech pointed out this snowy looking stuff in the amniotic fluid. She said it's the vernix and whatnot floating around.
Explained that back in the day, they used to think that it def meant baby was mature, but now... it's a 'maybe'.
Cervix check was meh. My cervix is doing a whole lot of nothing, BUT the OB did say that it felt softer and she could def feel the baby's head.
Oh and on the u/s..... Zoe has def dropped. She had to go WAY down to get head measurements.
What else what else... oh... I got my induction date! WOOOOOO!
Obviously they would prefer if I go in to labor naturally BUT, if not... then next Tuesday is when I go in :D
She did give me the option of waiting closer to 40w, but pffft..... don't think so! heh
Actually, depending on what my cervix is doing or not doing on Monday... I may have to go in Monday night to get some kind of thing in to help ripen my cervix.
But yeah... this baby girl is gonna be here no matter what in a week!! Holy... CRAP!
Oh and as for the pain I've been feeling. Mentioned it to the OB but she wasn't concerned with it at all. Just looked at me like "yep, that sounds about right" lol.

Ouch :(
Lower bump/ab pain is back and comes and goes.
Started to become a bit more constant at around 5pm. It eases up every once in a while but is mostly a constant achy feeling.
Get sharp pain on my sides now too which sucks.
I'll def bring it up with OB tomorrow. I'm sure will be told "oh it's normal late pregnancy stuff" *grumble*
Does not feel good though. It's tolerable but it's made me gasp and flinch quite a few times.
No idea if this is just from the baby or what.

Folded all of the baby stuff! WOO!
Good lord this child has more clothes than I do. Closet is running out of space! Need to get some cheap storage things to put in there for the crib sheets and such. Crammed all of that in to DH's old dresser but not much more will fit in there if we end up getting anything else.
I think we're def good on crib sheets. Don't need anymore of those.
We could probably use 1-2 more bassinet sheets and def need a few more changing pad covers.
Good on wash clothes and towels.
Use more burp clothes though. Think we only have 3 right now.
Uh what else what else.... I think that's it actually.
My body was not liking ANY of it though. Hell, I was sitting in the glider and was still getting BH contractions that I usually get when standing/walking. I can't flippin do anything right now.
Haven't even gotten around to vacuuming. SIGH! That's my own fault though. Was putting it off and meh.

Aching in lower uterus is back. It's ok when sitting but standing... it's like a sore ache feeling. Tolerable so not worried about it.
Saw my mom earlier for a little bit. She said I dropped some since she saw me a few days ago. I can't really tell but I wouldn't doubt it, especially with the achy lower feeling.
